The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in Milla Jovovich’s family. The Resident Evil star’s lookalike daughter, 13-year-old Ever Gabo Anderson, just landed a major spread in the pages of Vogue Arabia. In the shoot, in which Ever poses for a photo with her famous mom, the resemblance between the two is undeniable.

While Vogue Arabia may be the biggest modeling job Ever’s had to date, it’s far from the first time she’s been in front of the camera. Ever has recently posed for Flaunt magazine, Love magazine, and Chaos SixtyNine, as well as appearing in a campaign for Moschino.

Long before their joint shoot for Vogue Arabia, Ever and her mom teamed up for one of Jovovich’s movies. In 2016, Ever played the younger version of one of her mother’s characters, Alicia Marcus, in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

In a 2020 interview with Vice, Ever admitted that she hadn’t actually seen the movie. “I haven’t seen any of them! Not even the one I’m in! My parents won’t let me see them yet,” she revealed. She’s already landing major film gigs on her own, too.

In addition to her successful modeling career, Ever is trying acting on for size. In the Jan. 2021 issue of Vogue Arabia, Jovovich confirmed that Ever would be playing the younger version of Natasha Romanoff, the main character in Marvel’s Black Widow, coming out later this year. Ever also landed a plum role in Disney’s upcoming live action Peter Pan film, Peter Pan & Wendy, in which she will play Wendy. Ever’s parents have put some conditions on her acting and modeling, however.

Ever admitted that her time on the Resident Evil set made her realize that acting was her true calling, but her parents were quick to set boundaries on her new career.

“I literally cried when they yelled ‘cut’ on my last day of filming [Resident Evil] because I really didn’t want it to be over,” she told Vice. “After that, I asked my parents if I could audition for more films, and they said they would consider it if I kept my grades up.” And for the latest celebrity news delivered straight to your inbox, sign up for our daily newsletter.

While she’s already landing major modeling gigs and film roles, Ever hasn’t let her parents down when it comes to prioritizing her academic work.
